Recently Yasukazu Suwa has been involved in the study of Angolan rough diamonds. He is presently writing a booklet about the beauty of diamond rough and its importance before cutting. The following are some images from the display case in the sales-room.

Yasukazu Suwa is president of Suwa and Sun Incorporated which was established in 1908. He is a Director of the Japan Jewellery Association and has served on international industry associations for many years. Mr. Suwa is an outspoken proponent for educating both members of the jewellery trade as well as the general public.
Yasukazu has travelled to many gem mining locations around the world and has written 3 books. His most recent two volumes of "Gemstones, Quality and Value" describe a very unique method of how to evaluate the beauty of diamonds and gems.
