Each of the 35 member schools may bring up to 4 participants (2 students and 2 teachers) to the meetings. This is an excellent opportunity for C.I.G. students to meet students from other European countries. A number of excursions including visits to jewellery factories and design studios are planned. Students must pay for their own air-travel; all other expenses will be covered by the hosts. The 2005 Meeting will be held in Larnaka, Cyprus.

The 11th meeting was held in Antwerp, Belgium, from May 24 – 28, 2003.

The 2002 annual meeting took place from May 4 – 9 in Porto, Portugal and was hosted by ESCOLA SECUNDARIA SOARES DOS REIS.

The year 2000 meeting was organized by the Escuela Internacional de Joyeria, Madrid in Spain; the 1999 meeting was hosted by the Meisterschule fuer Handwerker in Kaiserslautern, Germany and the 1998 meeting was held at the Vakschool Edelsmeden in Amsterdam.

The 1997 PLE meeting was held in Lisbon, Portugal and was a great success for both students and staff.
