GL Gem Halogen Light Holder Update
Recent purchasers of the 2017 GL Gem Spectrometer may have noticed an additional SMA 905 port on top of the GL Gem Light holder.
Together with a solarization resistant fiber assembly the extra port can be used to connect with the built in halogen light and/or attached to other UV light sources (UVNS) and lasers.
We are just beginning with our research and will report about possible applications in the next GL Newsletter.
GL Gem Raman Software Update
We have updated the GL Gem Raman PL532 2016/17 model software to final version 3.1.
The integrated search engine can now accommodate customized databases with up to 3,000 references; search time is under one second which is probably the fastest presently known.
If you have not received the upgrade package with updated reference libraries please contact us.
This is for version 3.xx software only. Order the 2017 model of the GL Gem Raman PL532 here.
